The Cape Mode for Minecraft Pocket Edition (MCPE) introduces a creative feature allowing players to wear banners as capes. Once crafted, players can place the banner down and simply walk up to it to equip it on their character's back. These capes are treated as new entities that can be customized by dyeing them in 41 distinct colors and patterns.

However, it's important to note that this add-on is not usable on servers, limiting its use to single-player or multiplayer worlds with friends who have the add-on installed. Within the BlockLauncher, numerous cape and wing mods are available, each showcasing unique designs that can be crafted. Some capes can be accessed via a dedicated panel in the game or the Minecraft start menu, while others require players to find or craft them in their pixelated adventures.

Once a cape is selected or crafted, players can equip it through a specific window in the Minecraft PE inventory. Additionally, capes can be changed with a particular item within the game.
